Introducing another incredible vendor for our Community Arts Sign-Up Day! 🎨, The Prince Albert Children's Choir!!

About the Children’s Choir (PACC):

Open to All Children Who Love to Sing – Ages 6 to 18
The Prince Albert Children's Choir welcomes young singers from across our community, ages 6 to 18, who have a passion for music and a desire to grow as vocal performers. Re-established in 2007, the PACC proudly continues a youth choral tradition that has thrived in Prince Albert for over 60 years.

To best support the development of each singer, the PACC is divided into two age-based groups:

Preparatory Choir: Ages 6–10 – A fun and supportive introduction to group singing and music fundamentals.

Prince Albert Youth Honour Choir: Ages 10+ – A more advanced ensemble that explores challenging repertoire and provides additional opportunities for vocal growth.

Monthly fees start at just $30, making PACC one of the most accessible music programs in the region. In addition to group rehearsals, children receive comprehensive music education and vocal training, with occasional one-on-one instruction to help each singer discover their unique voice and reach their full potential.

The PACC performs a wide range of musical styles, including: Broadway hits, Disney classics, Pop favorites, Classical works, and Traditional folk songs. Solo opportunities are available depending on the music selected for each season, offering young performers a chance to shine.

We hope you'll come learn more about (and possibly sign up for) the Prince Albert Children's Choir on June 17th at the Margo Fournier Arts Centre from 5-8pm!

You know them, you love them, it's the Margo Fournier Arts Centre and Creative Kids!

THE MARGO FOURNIER ARTS CENTRE (formerly the Prince Albert Arts Centre) is operated by the City of Prince Albert and serves as a vibrant hub for arts, culture, and community programming. With their spring, fall, and winter programs, the MFAC provides countless opportunities every year to take in arts classes and workshops of all kinds.

CREATIVE KIDS SASKATCHEWAN offers financial support for Saskatchewan children and youth to participate in artistic and cultural activities. The grants are available to families who may not otherwise be able to afford art classes, music lessons, theatre classes, cultural activities, and dance classes, so that more kids can experience the benefits of these activities — benefits such as building confidence, finding their passions, and feeling like they belong by connecting with others. We partner with hundreds of instructors, studios, businesses, and non-profits across the province who provide lessons to kids in their communities.

We hope you'll come check out these great vendors at our Community Arts Sign-Up Day! 🎨 on June 17th from 5-8pm!!

Welcome to Ashden School of Irish Dance, a new vendor at our Community Arts Sign-Up Day! 🎨 this month!

ABOUT ASHDEN SCHOOL OF IRISH DANCE:

Irish Dance is a vibrant and athletic style of dance rooted in Irish tradition and culture. Known for its quick footwork, strong posture, and energetic rhythms, Irish Dance combines technique, artistry, musicality, and performance in a fun and supportive environment. You do not need to be of Irish heritage to participate — we proudly welcome dancers of all backgrounds to join our school, experience Irish culture, and enjoy the sport of Irish Dance. Whether dancers are interested in recreation, performance, or competition, Irish Dance helps build confidence, coordination, discipline, teamwork, and lifelong friendships.
Our classes are individualized to support each dancer’s unique goals, learning style, and experience level. We offer classes for all ages and abilities — from beginners age 5 through adults and Open Championship dancers. Classes include warm-ups, solo and group dances, as well as strength and flexibility training designed to help prevent injuries and improve overall dance performance.

With our small class sizes, we are able to work closely with each student, build strong relationships, and provide personalized encouragement every step of the way. We believe in helping dancers set achievable goals while providing the support and guidance needed to turn dreams into reality.

For class, dancers should wear comfortable clothing that allows for a full range of motion and bring a water bottle. Beginners are welcome to wear black ballet slippers, or we would be happy to help you find the right Irish Dance soft shoes. That’s it — you’re ready for your first class!

Come learn more about Ashden's School of Irish Dance on June 17th from 5-8pm at the Margo Fournier Arts Centre!

Please share, we'll see you there! :)
