The Prince Albert Construction Association provides its members with complete access to a weekly bulletin outlining current projects out for tender, pre-bid reporting, lows and awards results, and other construction related events / courses in our area. Members have the option to subscribe to the BuildWorks online planroom, as well as have access to in house large format printing (drawing
s), photocopying, reference material, and miscellaneous publications. Becoming a member means you will also be an integrated member with the Saskatchewan Construction Association (SKCA) and the Canadian Construction Association (CCA). Through the PACA Board of Directors, members are kept current on National and Provincial issues. Members receive an SKCA Provincial Roster & Buyer's Guide which lists all current members throughout the province. Criteria for Membership
Membership in the Prince Albert Construction Association is primarily made up of professional contractors and commercial/industrial suppliers/manufacturers. These members include:
General Contractors
- Individuals, firms, partnerships and incorporated companies engaged in the building trade as a General Contractor. Trade Contractors
- Individuals, firms, partnerships and incorporated companies engaged in the building trade as a Trade Contractor/Subcontractor. Manufacturer and Supplier Member
- Individuals, firms, partnerships and incorporated companies engaged in the building trade as a Manufacturer or Supplier of building materials, tools or equipment. Member Type
There are three classes of membership in the Association, which could be briefly defined as follows:
Full Member: is designated as one who has voting privileges, has paid the full integrated membership fee and is entitled to all benefits of membership
Affiliate Member: is designated as one whose Head Office maintains a Construction Association membership in a second Saskatchewan location and therefore does not pay a second integrated fee. Affiliate Members have all the rights and privileges, including sitting on the Board of Directors, as Full members. Associate Member: is one who joins basically for contact with members, involved in the Construction Industry, i.e. Accounting Firms, Law Firms, Insurance Companies and Government Agencies.
