Looking for ways to support your young person? Struggling to find ways to communicate effectively? Join Foundry Virtual BC in our upcoming Emotional Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) workshop! This 2-day workshop will help caregivers learn skills to connect and support their loved one. Any caregiver of a youth aged 12-24 living in BC can join this virtual workshop.

We will be there!

Join us at Larry Gouthro Park in Powell River on Friday, August 28, for Movie Under the Stars.

Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, gather your family and friends, and settle in for a free viewing of Pixar’s Elio. The film begins at dusk (approximately 8:45 pm) but be sure to arrive early to claim your spot and enjoy the delicious offerings from local vendors in a family-friendly setting.

Whether you're coming for the movie, the local food vendors, or simply to spend time with friends and neighbours, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect, relax, and make the most of a summer evening.

Admission is free. We can't wait to see you there!

Foundry is a province-wide network of free integrated health and wellness services for young people ages 12–24 and their caregivers. Youth & Family is the host agency; a local non-profit and registered charity that has supported Powell River and the qathet Region for over 30 years.

In our community, there is an urgent need for early intervention youth services. Our youth are full of promise and potential, but they are facing unprecedented challenges to their wellness.

Foundry qathet brings together youth-focused organizations already serving our community to create a coordinated hub, where we work in collaboration to make
accessing care and support easier
for youth and their families. Once open, Foundry qathet will receive guaranteed, ongoing, operational funding from the Province. Current planning and development work are also funded.
