Staff in our community often hear "I wish there something like that when I was growing up".

We want to thank our supporters as we get closer to creating a safe space for youth. Donate here: https://youthandfamily.ca/donate/

There are 20 Foundry centres open across BC, with 15 more in development. Foundry qathet will offer integrated health and wellness services to youth aged 12-24, as well as support to their caregivers. Once open, Foundry qathet will receive guaranteed, ongoing, operational funding from the Province. Current planning and development work are also funded.

To date, we have raised over half the money for the capital build (renovation) of Foundry qathet’s location. While we continue to apply for grants, we are asking the community to help us raise funds to truly make this a welcoming, youth-friendly space that meets the unique needs of our youth.

Free, accessible health & wellness services will reduce barriers to preventative care. Donate here: https://youthandfamily.ca/donate/ Your support will directly impact the lives of local youth and families. The Province provides one-time start-up funding to help establish centres, and ongoing core funding for service delivery. Local host agencies fundraise to cover additional start-up costs needed to open their centres, often tailoring spaces to the unique needs of their communities. Charitable Tax Receipts are issued upon request and in kind contributions are also gratefully accepted.

Need help covering rent or bills after losing work or being unable to work? This one-hour virtual workshop will explore income support options available to young adults.

We will cover what each program provides, who may qualify, when to apply, and how to get started. This session is designed for youth — and those supporting youth — who want to better understand financial support programs and be prepared for challenging times, whether support is needed now or in the future.
