To provide the community with access to open, alternative, independent, viable and responsible non-commercial radio, and to engage them both as listeners and producers. To provide community members with required training and access to CJMP.
-To introduce especially local information, arts and ideas to the public. To enhance community dialogue and involvement, through facilitating the sharing of information and ideas. To encourage individual and artistic expression. To provide a forum for non-corporate and neglected perspectives and discussions on important local, national and global issues, reflecting the values of peace, social, economic and environmental justice, human rights, democracy, multiculturalism, freedom of expression and social change. We broadcast programs that are different in style and substance from other radio stations. We actively participate in and reflect the artistic, cultural, social and political life of our listening communities. We endeavor to promote and maintain the highest level of journalistic and broadcasting excellence at all times. We broadcast a wide range of views, respecting our listeners interest in and willingness to consider competing ideas.
