I’ve made the difficult decision to rehome Gunner. He’s a beautiful boy that has weasel his way into my heart. My gosh do I love him so much, but it would be selfish of me to keep him. I want to continue my work internationally and trying to find a home for a vocal husky is much harder than a quiet dog like Isaac.

He is currently in a Foster Home on Bowen Island, if all goes well, we will finalize an adoption in a few weeks. I’m happy he gets to stay on an island where he gets to continue exploring the forest and the ocean.

I will keep everybody up to date on his progress.

Harry is a 2-year-old boy with lots of love to give, plenty of energy, and an endless excitement for life. He’s playful, affectionate, and always ready for his next adventure. A quick game of fetch can burn through his physical energy surprisingly fast, but his brain keeps going! Harry is a smart, curious boy who needs plenty of mental stimulation and enrichment throughout his day.

Harry can come on strong when meeting new people and dogs because he’s so excited to say hello. He’s currently learning to slow down, stay calm, and have relaxed introductions with new friends. He can live with another dog, and we think he would do best with a playful dog who can match his energy and enjoy his enthusiasm. He finds settling on his own challenging and often needs guidance with cues like “go to your bed” or “go to your crate.”

The good news? Harry loves his crate and sees it as a safe, comfortable place to relax. We’d love to see his crate training continued in his new home. Harry would thrive on a property or farm where he has space to roam, run, explore, and entertain himself, alongside someone who understands his busy mind and is willing to help him learn that sometimes it’s okay to slow down, relax, and simply enjoy being home.
