We are a newly formed Rescue who's 'Mission' is to Rescue, Rehabilitate and Re-Home unwanted Great Danes, and give them a second chance at finding their 'forever home'. Ontario Corp Number-1905663
Our previous background and success is based upon our experience with Danes, and our ability to match the Rescued dog with the right Adopter through a process which includes extensive screening, as wel
l as continued followup contact after Adoption. On intake each Dane goes through a period of Rehabilitation, either in one of our approved Fosters homes, or with our "Rehab Pack", for the more serious cases, which also involve living in a home environment to increase their socialization skills. The rehabilitation packs allow us to provide our assistance to a greater number of Danes within our care, and address any issues they may have prior to being adopted. To our knowledge, we are the only Great Dane Rescue that provides Rehabilitation as part their Adoption process, and virtually no Dane will be turned away or euthanized without every effort being made to accommodate their needs to increase their chances of a successful adoption. As well as behavior modification, this also includes addressing any health needs when they arrive, as well as necessary Veterinary care, and ensuring each is spayed, neutered and has their vaccinations. Our sole support will be from Donations, and eventually occasional fund raising events. We are always looking for Volunteers to assist with this area. Our page chronicles the Danes within our care through their Fostering and Rehabilitation period, through to their eventual Adoption. We are a family oriented positive organization and would like our page to always reflect this. Any posts not fitting with the mission of Great Dane Angels such as animal cruelty or negativity will be removed.
