An Inspiring Visit from Our District Leadership Team!

We were incredibly honored to host our Rotary District 5550 leadership team at our meeting on October 13th!

A massive thank you to District Governor Warren Thompson and our Area Assistant Governor, Ahmed Elsamahy, for taking the time to present to the club.

It was a fantastic opportunity to discuss upcoming district initiatives, align our goals, and look at the bigger picture of how we can expand our impact both locally and globally this year. We are energized, inspired, and ready to get to work.

This week we enjoyed a presentation by the Junkyard Dogs. Brenda Miller-Adams and Blair Geisel brought in their new purchase, the Trishaw!
Trained pilots take people with mobility issues for rides in the community on a specialized electric assist bicycles called a Trishaw.
They are looking to expand their services to a larger part of the community as they currently only work with Douglas Campbell Lodge and Lions Prairie Manor.
Such a wonderful initiative by the group, this has filled a great need in our community. Thank you Brenda, Blair and the rest of the Junkyard Dogs!
