Portage Potato Festival

Good morning Portage la Prairie, we're still here and planning of the 2026 Portage Potato Festival continues on. We are going to try something new this year to help raise some funds for the festival. As we all get a head start on our spring cleaning and find extra clothes or maybe some furniture, we are accepting gently used items for the first ever Potato Festival Garage Sale.

Items can be dropped off at 410 Tupper street North where we will sort, wash and store items until the 2026 Garage sale Season starts this spring. More details, dates and location of our sale to come. All sales will go directly I to supporting your Portage Potato Festival.

Announcements on the 2026 Festival lineup will be shared soon.

Our Halloween Social was a huge success!! Thank you to all who attended and support our Festivals fundraiser for the 2026 Festival. You helped us raise a profit of over 4k that will go towards our many bills for next year's festival.

Our committee thanks each and everyone of you. All of our guests, sponsors, entertainets, contractors and donations. Many families, businesses and individuals made the night what it was.

We learned today that people are actually taking the time to tell people the Halloween Social has been cancelled. It didn't take long, but we also learned who the two were. It's unfortunate that people stoop to this level. We are going strong and ticket sales are awesome!!

Lots of awesome prizes up for grabs too: cooler package and Thanksgiving dinner (door prizes), patio set, Halloween package, air fryer, 300$ in tattoo gift certificates, quilt and sheet set, Sirius gift package, Petric tickets, Brad Paisely and so much more....
