I'm a member of Burnaby Gogos and the Grandmothers Campaign, Stephen Lewis Foundation (http://grandmotherscampaign.org/). My crocheted items are fundraisers for the Campaign, which sends funds directly to grassroots organizations for grandmothers in Africa caring for millions of grandchildren orphaned by AIDS. Bye bye to our website but you can still stay in touch on FB about our work in the region.

After 15 active years for our Greater Van Gogos (GVG) website, we’ve decided to terminate the site in March. We originally created it to help our grandmothers groups with their outreach in support of African grandmothers via the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign. Most of our groups now share their activities and events via FB, their own websites, and their contact lists. We remain active on this FB page, so you can Like us here to stay current on events in the region. Although we share the FB posts of our groups here, you can Like the FB page of a group in your area to stay in touch with them.
