The Port Hope Fair was fuelled by three women.
Yes, the rides were run on generators and powered by mechanics. Yes, every one of our sections was carefully curated and guided by our incredibly skilled department heads and directors.
But any good machine and especially the Port Hope Fair, needs fuel.
Cotton candy only gets you so far…
With that, we have a HUGE thank you for Brenda, Cathy, and Lisa of Lisa’s Catering!
Brenda and Cathy worked tirelessly all weekend long, keeping our directors, associate directors, and volunteers stocked with snacks, drinks, meals, dietary options, and so much more.
Imagine catering a wedding that lasts four days.
Now imagine the amount of planning, detail, thought, care, preparation, and food runs required to make sure an entire team of people stays fueled and ready to go.
That’s what they did, all weekend long.
