VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – LET’S HELP WRAP UP THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS! ✨

Due to recent weather conditions, we haven’t been able to dismantle the Festival of Lights Port Hardy display just yet — and we could use a helping hand from our amazing community 💙

📍 Where: Carrot Park
📅 When: Friday, January 16th
⏰ Time: Starting at 9:30 a.m.

If you’re available to come help take down the lights, even for a short time, it would be greatly appreciated. Many hands make light work, and it’s a great way to give back and connect with others in our community.

👉 Please dress for the weather, bring gloves if you have them, and feel free to share this post to help spread the word! 💫

✨It’s a wrap! Today is the final day of the 2025 Rotary Festival of Lights Port Hardy

As we celebrate the final day of the Festival of Lights, we want to take a moment to sincerely thank everyone who made this event so special.

A heartfelt thank you to the Festival of Lights Committee, the Port Hardy Rotary, and every single sponsor and volunteer who gave their time, energy, and support. It truly takes a community to create something this meaningful, and the North Island once again showed just how strong and connected we are.

Today, in the North Island Eagle, features our full-page Thank You—dedicated to all our volunteers and sponsors. Without you, events like this simply would not be possible.

We wish everyone a very Happy New Year, and we already look forward to welcoming you back for another magical Festival of Lights next December. 💡✨
