Friday, May 22
Amaretto Light & Ranj Singh

At 7:30pm — Amaretto Light — Amaretto Light is an acoustic leaning offshoot of Amaretto Blues, created for intimate listening rooms and attentive audiences. The focus is on restraint, harmony, and vocal driven material rather than high energy blues. The group features Danielle Perko on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Enrico Renz on lead guitar and harmony vocals, Grant Hoffard on bass, and Eric Fry on percussion rounding out the pulse. Their sound draws from folk, roots, and gentle blues traditions.

At 8:50 pm — Ranj Singh — Ranj is an award-winning international touring and recording artist. He started his career in the 80’s performing with many Folk Punjabi and Hindi artists in the Vancouver area. In the 90’s Ranj helped form the “Bhangra Rock” group Dal Dil Vog (a.k.a. DDV). The group went on to win numerous awards and shared the stage with artists such as Jann Arden, 54-40, Colin James, Matthew Good, and more.

Lately, Ranj has been working hard performing over 200 shows a year as a solo artist, and has opened for Honeymoon Suite and shared the stage with many award-winning artists, such as Ra McGuire of Trooper. With a unique voice accompanied by his 2 alternate-tuned 12-string guitars, Ranj’s genre of Indo-Folk music is a melodic and soothing combination of subtle Indian melodies with classic pop / rock covers and originals.

The Royal Aloha Monday Band

At 7:30pm — The Tri-City Strummers — We are expecting at least 18 ukulele players from - The Tri-City Strummers – on Friday night. They'll be singing and strumming mostly Hawaiian songs. There will be three dancers from the Glen Pines Hula group, too! You will most likely want to be dancing and singing along!

At 8:50pm — The Royal Aloha Monday Band — With a love of Hawaiian music, The Royal Aloha Monday Band was born of necessity – for Canadian content for a Hawaiian music Co-op radio show. Tonight their full-flavoured Hawaiian music will carry you off to the sandy beaches, the birds singing, the sea breeze blowing, the hips swaying and the warmth and relaxation of the Hawaiian Islands. Aloha – with Don Kellett, Michael and Eleanor Dunn, Susan Vigneux, and Joe Bourchier. Expect Hula dancers and yes, you too, should wear an Hawaiian shirt or floral dress for the occasion.

Friday, April 10 - - Scott Gould and Fraser Union

At 7:30pm — Scott Gould
Scott Gould is a local singer-songwriter - leading the Port Moody Rock Choir that sang in our space on March 28th. A compelling storyteller, his highly original and poetic songs explore themes of life, love, loss, humour, relationship, memory, and spirituality, all of it with his amazing groove.

At 8:50pm — Fraser Union
Fraser Union has been playing Crossroads since the very beginning – at our 3rd night on Sept. 24, 1999. So, yes, Fraser Union has become an institution in folk clubs around BC. Roger Holdstock and Barry Truter are originals and now Kathy Griffin adds her voice and touch to their ever growing repertoire celebrating lives past and present. They can get historical and downright today, too. Three stringed instruments, three voices and as true a folk group as you'll ever find — welcome back Fraser Union.

Friday, March 27
JES and The Lawless Firm

At 7:30pm — JES -
JES is Jane Slemon, Ellen van der Hoeven, and Susan Larkin. A tight braid of harmonizing voices backed by a tapestry of instruments, the members of this musical friendship often can’t help but get themselves mixed up with one another. JES brings a diverse repertoire that includes Celtic, folk roots, and original songs.

At 8:50 pm — The Lawless Firm
Michael Dunn is a master luthier specializing in gypsy jazz guitars similar to those played by Django Rheinhardt and his followers. Michael is also well-known for his skill at playing gypsy jazz, or Manouche music, on the guitar. In recent years, Michael has been joined on ukulele by his wife Eleanore, who is a fine singer of American Songbook jazz. Michael and Eleanore will be joined by the multi-talented guitarist Don Kellett, jazz violinist Edgar Bridwell, and wonderful bassist Joe Bourchier who plays too many styles to list here!

Friday, March 13 - Tom Rawson — Robert Atyeo

At 7:30pm — Tom Rawson — So, if I told you to look for Pete Seeger's signature on Tom's banjo, you'd know what to expect tonight! Tom is a great story teller and folk singer with a penchant for singing about the good things in life — and the struggles for them. Tom has been on the folk scene for more than 50 years. He may ask you to sing along — please do!

At 8:50 pm — Robert Atyeo — After 25 years as a career musician in Ontario with live performances from coast to coast, Robert Atyeo has now settled on the west coast. Litterally. On the coast. Often compared to J. J. Cale, John Prine and Tom Waits for his acoustic style that melds folk and blues, Atyeo is a songwriter’s songwriter. If words are magic, he'll cast a spell on you. He's also an artist and will be bringing his abstract landscapes to the show. There is a time and place for everything and tonight will be it! He's back for the 4th time with lots to say and sing - and to show and sell some pictures.

Come and enjoy the music this season with us —

Friday, Feb. 27 - Kindness and Positivity x2

At 7:30pm — Poole & Craib
Gary Poole and Kevin Craib (Poole & Craib) are a song writing duo from B.C.’s Lower Mainland. Their thoughtful guitar work creates the foundation for melodies and lyrics that tell compelling stories and explore memorable people and places. One memorable place for them is The Crossroads Hospice Coffeehouse, which continues to be one of their favourite venues. Their return to Crossroads will isfeature some older songs, as well as tunes from their very recent 3rd album, “Window on the World”. Find more at www.garypoolesongs.com where the kindness is for free and so are the songs.

At 8:50 pm — Katie Fish
Katie is a 17 year-old singer and guitarist who loves to play acoustic classics, spanning various decades of music. You will know her tunes! You may remember her from last month as the younger one in the duo Generations. She is currently in her senior year of high school with ambitions of pursuing music therapy. She looks to spread positivity through music - creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere, through gentle melodies - and for all to enjoy.

Boudreau and Bowman - The Songwriters' Night

Friday, Feb. 13

At 7:30pm — Ivan Boudreau - Ivan has been a professional musician/songwriter and wandering minstrel for over 50 years, with deep roots in Nova Scotia, youthful years in Boston, Toronto and now calling Port Coquitlam home. He has a driving passion for stories and writing songs that are honest and heartfelt. They give us the thoughts, music and songs that make us feel alive! We'll also be graced with the smooth sounds of Brian Nicholl on pedal steel.
https://ivanboudreau.bandcamp.com/

At 8:50 pm — John Bowman - John Bowman is also a guy who just can't help but write engaging songs about life, love, restaurants and who knows what. Songwriters are like that. His songs have the power to transport you to a scene in a movie or to an old café or to a horse race with a trackside seat. So many songs, so little time – but we'll hear some of John's songs in the time that we have. With him tonight is also Brian Nicholl – on pedal steel guitar. https://johnbowman.bandcamp.com/album/fast-track-for-a-slow-horse

Crossroads Hospice Coffeehouse for Friday Jan. 23rd — We're at The Gathering Place - aka The Michael Wright Art Gallery.

7:30pm — Mountain Sound is an indie folk trio from the west coast of British Columbia, creating music rooted in honest storytelling, rich harmonies, and an organic acoustic sound that feels both intimate and uplifting. Inspired by landscape and lived experience, their songs move fluidly between raw, soulful ballads and more upbeat, blues-tinged grooves, grounded in warm acoustic textures, subtle rhythmic drive, and layered vocals.
Mountain Sound is currently working on new music for release in 2026, continuing to build a growing catalogue of genuine, emotionally resonant songs that prioritize connection, warmth, and authenticity.

8:50pm — Electric Dandelion — West Coast guitarist singer/songwriter Aaron Connaughton will be playing songs from his band, Electric Dandelion. A new project he formed with his son Leif on bass, they mix some folk and rock influences with reggae and funk from easy listening to fun upbeat danceable tunes. Aaron, also the writer and cofounder of “the good the bad and the banjo“ bass player for “Knudson and Connaughton” and front man for “BC TOP” is very excited to bring this project to life with his own flesh and blood.
