It’s official!

Here’s the 2026/2027 Season line up!

Our Senior Production is set to be truly epic this year with The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson musical!

The Junior Production kids will do two original musicals again next year. In the fall, Snowball, about a little white lie that grows out of control. Then for the spring we’ll head down the yellow brick road with The Search for Ozma, based on the lesser known Oz books by Frank L Baum.

And the Tiny Troupers will also get two shows next year! Frosty for the fall production, and an original adaptation of Snow White in the spring!

Registration for all upcoming season productions will open June 30.

How do the stories we tell shape the way we see each other?

Next Tuesday, award-winning theatre artist Carmen Aguirre will be leading a free, interactive workshop at the Evergreen Cultural Centre exploring that question through theatre games, movement, discussion, and collaborative activities.

This isn't an acting class and no theatre experience is required.

It's a chance to spend 90 minutes with other curious people exploring perspective, assumptions, belonging, and human connection in a creative and engaging way.

The workshop is connected to the themes of our current original production, Myths and Mirrors, but is open to anyone aged 16+.

📅 Tuesday, June 9
⏰ 4:00–5:30 PM

Every story has two sides.

When two students stumble across a mysterious book, they’re pulled into a world where myths, fairy tales, and folklore from around the world have been thrown wildly out of order—and may not let them leave unless they can set things right. As they journey through the book and encounter its mythological characters, they begin to question the stories they’ve always believed—the ones they tell about others, and the ones they tell about themselves.

Blending humour, music, and characters from diverse cultural traditions, Myths and Mirrorsexplores how the stories we tell can divide us or bring us together. In a world quick to judge, this imaginative production invites audiences to look again, find the common threads, and reconsider what they think they see.

Created and performed by students aged 7 - 13, this 45-minute show is suitable for all ages.

Monday June 8th and Tuesday June 9th at 7pm at the Evergreen Cultural Centre

Tickets:
Adults $10
Seniors and Students $8
