CANAL DAYS 2026 🎆 | Members of the media, sponsors and community partners gathered at the Vale Health & Wellness Centre Thursday morning as the City of Port Colborne unveiled the musical lineup and festival details for the 2026 Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival, presented by GIO Rail.

From Friday, July 31 to Monday, August 3 the 48th annual Canal Days festival returns for a Civic Holiday long weekend filled with live music, family-friendly entertainment, spectacular fireworks, great food, and more.

This year’s mainstage will be located at H.H. Knoll Lakeview Park on Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1, featuring two nights of live Canadian music and entertainment. The City is proud to unveil the following performers for 2026:
🎸 Friday, July 31 – Featuring Big Wreck with JJ Wilde and Bleeker, presented by 97.7 HTZ-FM
🎸 Saturday, August 1 – Featuring the The Strumbellas with Bedouin Soundclash, and Street Pharmacy presented by Dream 105.7

⚠️ Canal Days Vendors: Beware of Scam Payment Requests ⚠️

The City of Port Colborne continues to receive reports of individuals impersonating City staff and Canal Days organizers through unofficial email accounts and requesting payment by e-transfer for vendor spaces.

Official City communications will only come from .ca email addresses
Vendors should only use approved payment methods communicated directly by City staff
Do not send payment or personal information without verifying the request through official City contact information

If you receive suspicious emails, payment requests, or messages related to Canal Days vendor applications, please contact the City directly before taking any action.

Thank you for helping protect our community and local businesses from scams.

✅ Marine heritage goes beyond the museum grounds - Canal Days is expanding its marine heritage and history programming along West Street, creating new opportunities for vendors and community groups whose work, products, or experiences connect to our waterways, outdoor culture, and local heritage.
✅ A new Outdoor Zone at Sugarloaf & West Street - This high-energy area will bring together outdoor clubs, community organizations, and experience-based vendors in a vibrant hub focused on adventure, culture, and discovery.
✅ Introducing a dedicated Retail Market - Located on the Princess Street bend, the Retail Market will be the festival’s designated space for retail vendors. This curated area will feature a wide variety of festival favourites, from eye-catching jewelry, fashion, and sports gear to popular non-artisan finds.
