Port Colborne. You knocked it out of the park today. The PC Lion donot day blitz was a huge success with over 750 doz donuts being sold. Thank you for your amazing support. See you at carnival for more donuts.

Ruby had the chance to meet up with some familiar friends this week as we celebrated a generous $4,000 donation from the Port Colborne Lions Club in support of our 40,000 lbs of Food to Celebrate 40 Years campaign.

The Port Colborne Lions Club has been a long-time supporter of Port Cares, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued commitment to helping people in our community. Their generosity will help provide healthy food and vital support to individuals and families across South Niagara.

Thank you for helping us celebrate 40 years of service by investing in a stronger, more food-secure community. 🍓

Port Colborne & surrounding area. Donut Day is coming. Mark your calendars - Sat., June 13th from 9 am until we run out of steam. Same place as the carnival. Lions Field in Port Colborne corner of Killaly and Elm Streets. Line up on Killaly Street as we offer curb side service only, no walk ins.

THANK YOU PORT COLBORNE, and specifically PET VALU, LeMayzzz Meats and especially OVER THE RAINBOW DOG ACADEMY. Through your sponsorship, donations and efforts the Port Colborne Lions PetValu Walk for Dog Guides was able to raise $10,368.25 this past Sunday for Dog Guides of Canada. These funds will go directly to the Dog Guide School in Oakville who provide free of charge the following Dog Guides to those in need: Diabetes Alert, Canine Vision, Hearing, Facility Support, Service, Seizure Response and Autism Assistance Dog Guides. These funds were raised by 35 walkers with 15 dogs. Congratulations go to all the walkers, both two legged and four legged. Job well done.

The effective speaking competition is coming up soon. If you want to create your own speech and participate then please call or email Lion Laura Sachs for information on how to get involved. This is open to all Port Colborne and Wainfleet students grades 4-12 English and French.

2 years ago we had multiple students attend the MDA competition where they won some large cash prizes.
