🐟 HAPPY RIVERS DAY! 🐟

We’re all set up and ready for fun at Beaver Creek Hall and Stamp Falls Park. Our family fun, community event is happening now until 3pm Thai afternoon.

Lots of activities and learning about our watersheds, salmon, and wildlife!

We’ve got a free shuttle running back and forth between the hall and the park for the duration of the event so you can check it all out!

Grab lunch from the Black Sheep Rugby Club or Ro’s Refreshments while you’re here! 🍔🌭☕️🥤🍿

Jerry the Moose is back! 🫎

We're thrilled to have Jerry from BC Parks joining us for Alberni Valley Rivers Day 2025 on Sunday from 10-3! 🐟

It's going to be a wet one (we need the rain!), so please dress accordingly, and know that we are still a go! We'll be maximizing our indoor space, and have tents set up for outside for cover.

Reminder that parking is in the field just past the hall, and we have a free shuttle running throughout the event, back and forth into Stamp Falls Park!

Grab a hot lunch (burgers or hot dogs) from the Port Alberni Black Sheep, and hot or cold drinks, and snacks from Ro's concession trailer.

Please spread the word, and hope to see you Sunday for a fun, educational, community event!

Jerry's back! 🫎

We're so excited to have Jerry the Moose from BC Parks joining us for Alberni Valley Rivers Day 2025 on Sunday! It's looking like it's going to be a wet day (but that's all part of our watershed and water systems!), so dress for the weather 🌧

We'll be maximizing our indoor space, and have tents set up, so spread the word, and we're so excited to see you all on Sunday!

We are one week away from Alberni Valley Rivers Day 2025!! 🐟💧🌲🐻

This event is happening rain or shine, so mark your calendars and join us for the free, educational, family event from 10-3 on Sunday, September 28th!

You can grab a drink or snack from Ro's while you're out here, and if you want something heartier for lunch, the Port Alberni Black Sheep are joining us to cook up burgers and hot dogs.

Beaver Creek Community Hall has a wonderful, new outdoor covered area, with picnic tables for you to enjoy your food. 🍔🌭🥤☕️🍿

Check out the fishing printing station, salmon dissection table, fish ladder down in Stamp Falls Park, and more!

Please note, parking is in the ball field, so drive just past Beaver Creek Hall for parking (we need the area in front of the hall for the free shuttle service into the park!) 🚐. You will see rugby volunteers helping direct traffic ⛗

We're set to host our annual Alberni Valley Rivers Day event at Beaver Creek Community Hall and Stamp Falls Provincial Park on Sunday, September 28th, from 10-3!

This is a free, family event, where you can learn about our local waterways, salmon migration, and more! Activities for the kids, concession, etc, on site. 🐟🌲💧

IT’S RIVERS DAY! 💧🐟🌲🐻 Alberni Valley Rivers Day.

We’re all set up at Beaver Creek Community Hall and down in Stamp Falls Provincial Park (a bear has already been spotted in the canyon!) This event runs until 3pm.

At the hall, you’ll find the fish printing station, salmon dissections, button making station, bracelet making, and more! Learn about our local watersheds, salmon, and wildlife. The Fisheries boat is on site for you to explore as well.

We are so excited for our third annual Alberni Valley Rivers Day event this weekend! 🐟💧🌲🐻

Shuttle service is secured again this year, so we have transportation continually between the Hall and the Park - there is lots of room to park in the ball field at Beaver Creek Community Hall 🙂

The Hall will be offering pizza for lunch (options of buying cheese, pepperoni, or Hawaiian by the slice), and Ro’s Refreshments will be on site with drinks, chips, popcorn, hot pretzels, and nachos!

Thrilled to have salmon dissection demos, the fish painting station, and lots of activites for event guests.

THANK YOU to all the groups and volunteers involved for making this event happen!
