745 RCACS held their 45th Annual
Ceremonial Review & Awards Night on 28 May 25, we were pleased to have Constable Michael Pike of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, as our Reviewing Officer. The cadets were extremely well turned out, as always.

Following the parade, the staff took the opportunity to present awards, promotions, and level passes to celebrate individual accomplishments, team achievements, and the successful training year.

We are so proud of our cadets, our team, & all of the awesome support we get from our Community.

*Greeting Board Update*

Our seasonal Greeting Board is one of our key fundraisers. Due to the mail strike, we have not been able to receive submissions like we have in the past; therefore, the Squadron Sponsoring Committee has decided to delay the printing of our Greeting Board until undelivered submissions have been received.

As in the previous years, our Greeting Board will be professionally printed and will be displayed in the downtown area of Porcupine Plain. This year’s Greeting Board’s theme will be changed to ‘Happy New Year’ to reflect the unforeseen delay.

The Cadets, Staff, and SSC of #745 Porcupine Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron would like to thank everyone for their understanding and continued support of our local Air Cadet Program.

Honoured Guests, Cadets, and Staff of 745 Porcupine RCACS gathered together for their Annual Holiday Mess Dinner on 30 November.

Tradition, formality, delicious fine food, and unbeatable company made an enjoyable evening for all.

This year we were thrilled to host Minister Brent Digness, Métis Nation—Saskatchewan, His Worship Nick Wood, Mayor of Porcupine Plain, and Mr. Gerry Young, 745 Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC).

Special thanks and admiration to 745's SSC for all the hard work they put into this event; as always, you're 'the wind beneath our wings'. ❤️

#745 Porcupine Air Cadet SSC have just been notified that the Poinsettias, etc, were damaged in transit and will not be delivered today. We are terribly sorry for the inconvenience. A replacement order will be sent as soon as possible. We will post an update when we have the new date.

Credit card and e-transfer orders can be placed online using the following link. For cash or cheque payments, please message your order, we will then confirm and arrange payment with you. On 17 October 2024, Captain George Kays of Porcupine Plain, SK was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal by Mrs. Cathay Wagantall, M.P. - Member of Parliament (Yorkton-Melville) at a ceremony in Yorkton, SK; being recognized for his ‘selfless commitment to various efforts throughout his community; surrendering much of his free time at the local, provincial, and national levels to provide significant and sustained contributions to a wide range of causes and organizations’.

Designed to highlight themes that are dear to the King and to Canadians, including service to others, youth empowerment, and the importance of diversity; the Coronation Medal was created to mark the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III, which took place on 6 May 2023 and to celebrate 30,000 deserving individuals for their contribution to Canada.

Join us in congratulating 745’s Training Officer, Captain Kays, on his significant achievement!

Your orders will be arriving 25 October and will be available for pick up between the hours of 1:30 - 6:30 pm at the Boardroom of Quilly's Community Place. Please use the back door for pick up.
