Ponoka Rising Sun Clubhouse We strive to enable past or present consumers of mental health services to live independent and self-sufficient lives in the community.

The Clubhouse models was designed as an effective way to provide programs and services which are intended to both strengthen individual skills and to develop the environmental support necessary to sustain the individual in the community. The Ponoka Rising Sun Clubhouse Society guarantees its members 4 basic rights:
1) A right to a place to come
2) A right to meaningful work
3) A right to meaningful relationships
4) A right to a place to return. The Clubhouse also offers a work program to eligible members that runs Monday-Thursday and every second Friday.

Some Exciting News from PRSC!

First, a HUGE congratulations to Jessica on her well-deserved promotion! After almost 10 years with PRSC, Jessica brings so much knowledge, experience, dedication and understanding of our members and our Clubhouse. We are incredibly excited to see her step into this new role and continue to grow with PRSC.

And… please help us give a BIG PRSC welcome to Bev! Bev may be new to our staff team, but she certainly isn’t new to PRSC! Through years of working collaboratively alongside us in the community, Bev already knows our organization, our work and many of the people we support. When the opportunity came together, it just felt like a great fit and we are thrilled to officially have her on our team!

We had a very special guest this morning!

Starting today, October 1, recyclable materials at the curb will be expanded to include:

✅ Flexible plastic and films;
✅ Empty aerosol containers;
✅ Foam packaging;
✅ Paper laminates (like coffee cups and ice cream containers); and
✅ Glass containers.
PRSC will be posting on social media as well as informing our customers of all accepted and not accepted items.
