The Ralph returns May 22–23, 2026 at Wolf Creek Golf Resort.

For those who teed it up at the Cattlemen’s in years past, we’re heading back to the same course that holds so many memories — the nostalgia, the stories, and the kind of challenges that test every level of golfer.

True to golf’s old-world Scottish roots, Wolf Creek features 27 distinctive holes, complete with classic pot bunkers and sweeping native grasses lining immaculate fairways.

This course holds a special place in the heart of the Vold family, and we are honoured to host The Ralph here. We’re incredibly grateful for our partnership with Wolf Creek and can’t wait to gather again on such meaningful ground.

At The Ralph we’re not just golfing in memory of a great man. We’re golfing in support of our friends at Ponoka Arts, Recreation and Cultural Society - better known as PARCS.

PARCS is a non-profit charitable organization that raises capital through fundraising events and community donation. This capital is used to invest in arts, recreational and cultural facilities in Ponoka for the benefit of the community.

One goal of PARCS is a field house that will serve as a hub for sports and recreation, fostering athletic growth and community engagement. We are proud to work in support of this amazing initiative and the betterment of the community Ralph grew up in and contributed to throughout his life.

The inaugural Ralph Vold Memorial Golf Tournament honours a trailblazer who believed deeply in people, sport, and community. Together, we gather not just to remember Ralph, but to carry his vision forward to help shape the future of Ponoka.

Ralph was a man who saw opportunity where others saw obstacles. His deep roots in Ponoka and passion for sport led him to create the Cattlemen’s Tournament - an iconic event that brought together industry leaders, friends, family, colleagues, and community builders. “The Ralph” will bring us all together on the very same fairways of Wolf Creek Golf Resort, where it all began.

Today, we carry forward his spirit of innovation and leadership, not only in honouring his legacy but in building something new - a field house for Ponoka. This is a facility that will serve as a hub for sports and recreation, fostering athletic growth and community engagement. This initiative is about more than just a tournament; it is about bringing together those who believe in progress, business development, sports, and community betterment.
