We will be doing maintenance at the playground over the next two days (June 17th and 18th), so the gate will be closed during this time. We will let you know as soon as it’s open and ready to enjoy again.

Our favourite time of year is almost here!

Preparations are underway for our annual Canada Day celebration, and we can’t wait to bring our community together again.

You’ll be thrilled to hear that Rémi Boudreau, Magician & Illusionist, will be returning for another unforgettable performance. His show was a highlight of 2024, and we’re so excited to welcome him back!

July 1 is shaping up to be a great celebration!

The Centre proudly hosted the 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 on Wednesday, June 3, celebrating the accomplishments and growth of 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭 𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐧 𝟏𝟓𝟑𝟓 over the past year.

The event was a tremendous success and highlighted the remarkable progress of the squadron. From just three enrolled cadets three years ago to 25 registered cadets this year, the squadron's growth is a testament to the dedication and commitment of its cadets, volunteers, and the families and friends whose support made participation possible throughout the year.

Congratulations to all members of Cadet Squadron 1535 on an outstanding year. We wish everyone a safe, enjoyable, and well-deserved summer!

With a new month ahead, we’re looking forward to warmer days and the feeling of summer getting closer. May was a busy month at the Centre, with lots happening and one notable change: the installation of our new electronic sign. This addition will help us share updates and activities more easily. Thank you to everyone who contributed to make it happen.

June is also shaping up to be an active month, and we’d like to highlight a few upcoming events:

On Wednesday, June 3rd, 𝐂𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐬 𝟏𝟓𝟑𝟓 will be holding their 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 at the Centre. This is an important event for the cadets, and we extend our congratulations to all cadets and staff on another successful year.

We are also preparing for our 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐃𝐚𝐲 event and will be sharing more details soon. We look forward to seeing many of you there.

Don’t forget, as the weather warms up and we spend more time outdoors, the Centre has plenty to offer:
• A great playground
• A splash pad
• Our outdoor rink, perfect for ball hockey or basketball
• Open green space for softball or soccer

We also have 𝐙𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚 classes, a great way to get moving and an easy way to meet others who share similar health and wellness goals.

𝐙𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬: Three sessions each week, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Jess and Kierra will lead Monday nights, while Jocelyne takes over on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

For more information on Jess & Kierra’s Monday class, please email: [email protected]

For more information Jocelyne’s Tuesday class, please email: [email protected]

𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐜 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩: The group will be meeting for the final time before breaking for the summer. The last session will be on Monday, June 8th. For those interested, the start time is 10:00 a.m. The program promotes family well‑being by offering bilingual services, resources, and activities for children and families from pre‑birth to age six.

Warmer weather is on the way, and we’re excited to share that our splash pad is officially ready for the season!
