Using supplied materials, teams are challenged to build go-karts from scratch on the first day and race them the next day in a fast-paced, nail biting 200 lap race on a quarter mile dirt track. The main race takes place on Saturday and has the entire crowd in suspense. Registration usually happens March 1st at midnight and sells out quick

What started off as a competition between the Grenier brothers and friends has blown up into a provincial festival with over 50 participants and 100 spectators in the first year, to 120 participants and 1500 spectators 5 years later. “St-Labre 200 Inc. is all about getting people together and having a great time” said former committee member Lucien Grenier, “We can accomplish this all while raising money for many local organisations, charities and or causes.”
