Due to the amount of comments regarding the quality of the livestream, we've been hard at work working with the audio and video from the forum a few nights ago. For this new enhanced version, we tried to reduce the reverb as much as possible, and we also zoomed in so you can see the candidates better. You will also find a timestamp guide in the comments below so that you can choose to listen only to the parts of the forum that matter to you. Enjoy!

We received a lot of feedback regarding the first map we posted showing the extent of Pinawa’s downtown Central Commercial (CC) zone. Some called for more nuanced ownership information, or more context regarding the Pinawa Waterfront Secondary plan produced in 2018. And since those concerns were raised, our chamber has been hard at work compiling everything into a more comprehensive and detailed map and accompanying infographic which now contains all that information.

We invite you to click on the following image (it is made to perfectly fit your phone screen when clicked), read all the information, and comment below if you have any follow up questions. This infographic represents the most comprehensive information we could gather. And we hope it provides that greater regulatory context some of you requested.

The Pinawa Chamber of Commerce has compiled this publicly available information in order to provide member businesses and the broader community clarity on commercial lot ownership and current development status.

Disclaimer: This infographic is based on the best available information as of September 7th, 2026. Proposed developments and land uses remain subject to change and required approvals by the LGD of Pinawa or other applicable authorities.
