Laliberte is a celebrated Canadian curler from Manitoba. She made history in 1984 by becoming the first Métis woman to skip a team to victory at the Ladies World Curling Championship. Over her career, she secured three Canadian women’s titles and was inducted into the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame in 2000. After retiring from competitive play, she served nearly two decades as CurlManitoba’s High Performance Director before retiring in 2022.
