A visit to Prince Edward County is time well spent – No matter what the season is. The island culture thrives during the offseason with festivals, ice skating and ice fishing. Make it more memorable and pare it with excellent cuisine and w**e from area w**eries.

We so enjoyed being one of the host locations for this event.

We had a lovely time receiving so many young royals - hope you all enjoyed the day. Many thanks to the volunteers and organizations that made Amelia’s Birthday Party possible. We are hosting a special presentation by Sheila Dodd – an active volunteer, committee member and accredited speaker with Home Children Canada (HCC) since 2019.
Sheila has researched several local area British Home Children (BHC) and has worked with their families to bring their stories to life.
Sheila has also served on the Liverpool Monument Committee representing HCC to have a statue placed at Liverpool harbour, England, to commemorate the 118,000 BHC who sailed from Liverpool to Canada

When going through donations of family history material, we generally focus on retaining materials that add to the stories of lives lived. However, many donors are often overwhelmed with what to do with other items that were treasured at one time or another.

We have one case in particular who wants to find a home for the following collections:

County Magazines
Bibles (not family bibles)
Books on Religion
Books & publications on Farm Tractors
