Pickering is home — and I'm running to make it better for all of us.

I'm committed to bringing a strong, community-first voice to Ward 1.

Better transit. Better connections. Better traffic management.

If we want fewer cars on our roads, we need to give residents a practical and reliable alternative.

That means advocating for more frequent service, better routes and stronger connections — especially for seniors, commuters and residents who depend on public transit every day.

As Pickering grows, our transit needs to keep up with that growth.

I’ll work with our Regional Councillor to advocate for a transit system that better connects our neighbourhoods and makes getting around Pickering easier.

You can’t ask people to drive less without giving them a reliable alternative.

💼 What does growing Pickering’s commercial tax base have to do with affordability? A lot.

Attracting and supporting more businesses can strengthen our non-residential tax base, create local jobs, and build a stronger local economy.

It’s about creating a positive economic cycle that benefits residents and businesses alike. It won’t happen overnight — it takes a clear plan, consistency and the right priorities.

That’s the Pickering I’ll work toward as your Ward 1 Councillor.

What a meaningful evening! ❤️

A heartfelt thank you to AFIYU Enterprise, the Pickering Caribbean Canadian Cultural Association (PCCCA), and the Black Jewel Foundation (BJF) for bringing candidates and residents together for tonight’s Meet & Greet.

I truly enjoyed listening to residents, exchanging ideas, and learning more about the experiences and challenges facing different families and communities across Pickering.

Our diversity is one of Pickering’s greatest strengths. I believe everyone—regardless of their background, culture, age, or circumstances—should feel welcomed, respected, heard, and included in our city.

Tonight was a great reminder that strong communities are built through conversation, partnership, and people coming together.

Thank you to the organizers, residents, and fellow candidates for a wonderful evening. I’m grateful to have been part of it. ❤️

PROMISE #3 — Annual Ward 1 Budget Report Card

At the doors across Ward 1, I hear residents asking an important question:

“We pay our taxes—but what are we actually getting for them?”

You deserve a clear answer.

That’s why, as your Ward 1 Councillor, I will provide an Annual Ward 1 Budget Report Card showing—in plain language—how City funds were invested in our Ward and what results were delivered.

Roads, parks, recreation, neighbourhood improvements and City services—you deserve to know what was promised, what was spent, what was completed and what still needs attention.

You work hard for your money. When City Hall spends it, your councillor should be able to look you in the eye and account for the results.

For me, fiscal responsibility isn't only about how we vote on a budget. It’s about reporting back to the people who paid for it.

If you want a councillor who will respect your tax dollars, report back and be accountable for results, I humbly ask for your vote.

Your money. Your Ward. Your right to know.
