The sweetest birthday celebration! 🎂 Wish kid Friana just returned from her wish trip, where she had the ultimate Hello Kitty experience.

After being diagnosed with cancer last year and undergoing treatment, 8-year-old Friana got to celebrate her special day by visiting not one, but TWO Hello Kitty Cafes!

"It was the best birthday ever," she shared. "The team at Make-A-Wish Canada made me so happy!"

Meet Emma, a brave 5-year-old who was diagnosed with leukemia at an early age. She loves Frozen, puppies, beach days, and playing outside. When Emma wished for a backyard playset themed with her favourite movie, we knew it would bring her endless joy!

With the help of her family, who painted and put it all together, Emma’s playset is now complete—and it’s everything she dreamed of! Her mom shared, “We’ve finished painting Emma’s playset and held her wish reveal celebration with all her friends! She absolutely loves it and will enjoy it for years to come!” 💙

Nolan’s wish to explore Western Canada came true, and what an unforgettable trip it was! From watching aqua planes and swimming at the stunning Stanley Park to visiting the BC Wildlife Centre in Kamloops and spotting a rare spirit bear, Nolan experienced it all with wide eyes and a big smile. 🐻✨

Dan’s greatest wish was to have a cat, and Diamond came into his life at just the right time. After enduring surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, Dan found comfort, joy, and strength in Diamond’s cuddles and charm.

Today we want to give a huge thank you to Canada Cycles for Kids for their continued support.

Their 24th annual Tour took cyclists pedaling across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta. We were honoured to join the Canada Cycles for Kids (CCFK) team for a special dinner event in Calgary, with some very special guests – wish child Lochlan and his family. While in Saskatoon, we helped bring the Tour to a close by hosting the CCFK team and a few local wish families for a fun picnic-lunch event.

Through this year’s Tour, an incredible $100,000 was donated to Make-A-Wish. We are so incredibly grateful to the entire CCFK team for their continued dedication and support. In total, they have cycled more than 25,000 KMs and have raised over $2 million to help grant life-changing wishes to children facing critical illnesses across the country, when they need it the most. 💙

In a milestone moment, Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada and Make-A-Wish Canada are joining forces with the goal of granting the wish of every eligible child across the country. As one organization, our mission will be to provide children with life-threatening illnesses the opportunity to realize their most heartfelt wish, giving them the strength to endure their treatments and build resilience.
