With deep gratitude and deepest sympathy, we remember Anne McGugan, who devoted countless hours to Lambton Rural Child Care from 2009 to 2021. As a longtime Board of Directors member and Vice President, Anne brought a ready smile, steady wisdom, and wholehearted dedication to every decision. She always put the best interests of the children and staff first, and she was the first to volunteer whenever help was needed. Community, education and family were central to her work and values. We honour her many years of service and extend our heartfelt condolences to her husband Don and family. She will be greatly missed!

We see the drop-offs, the pick-ups, the coming straight from work, the early mornings, and we hear all the incredible things your kiddos say about YOU.

Every year, one of our favourite traditions is hitting the road to visit every single one of our sites and home care providers to deliver Mother’s Day gifts!

It’s a vital touchpoint that allows us to say thank you in person to the incredible women who pour their hearts into LRCC.

This year’s deliveries were extra sweet! We partnered with Petrolia Street Bakery, and it’s safe to say their treats were a massive hit.

To our staff: thank you for all you do. We hope these goodies made your day as bright as you make ours!
