πŸŽƒπŸ‚ A Thanksgiving Trip to the Field! πŸ‚πŸŽƒ

Getting ready for Thanksgiving meant a trip to the pumpkin patch! The group enjoyed a wonderful day at Wade and Shelly Ingold’s farm near Alvinston, picking out the perfect pumpkins, exploring the field, and taking in the beauty of the fall season.

A big thank you to Wade and Shelly for welcoming us to their farm and helping create such a fun and memorable experience. Nothing says Thanksgiving quite like fresh air, great company, and a pumpkin picked straight from the field! πŸ§‘πŸŽƒ

🧑 September 30 | National Day for Truth and Reconciliation & Orange Shirt Day

Today, we honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and the families and communities who continue to carry the impacts of this painful legacy.

National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is a time to reflect, remember, and recognize the truths of Canada's history. It is also a reminder that reconciliation is not a single day, but an ongoing commitment to learning, listening, and taking meaningful action.

At LCDS, we believe that building inclusive, respectful communities begins with understanding and respect for Indigenous voices, perspectives, and experiences.

As you wear orange today, we encourage you to take a moment to learn, reflect, and explore ways to support reconciliation in your own life and community.
