It's called Petrolia Community Refrigerator, with the motto: "Take What You Need - Leave What You Can"
The concept is simple: Anyone can access the Community Refrigerator and take whatever is available.

Thank you to Petrolia Youth Advisory Committee - YAC for donating water, kool-aid and popcorn to the Petrolia Community Refrigerator that was left over from their event at Petrolia Discovery for kids! The food items were from Your Independent Grocer and Gramma's Candy Store
Lilliana, Kingston, Harrison Syer and Sophia Makiienko are pictured stocking the fridge with the treats!

Petrolia Community Refrigerator will have the Mobile Market, today and all Mondays (except stats) from 9:30-10:30 offering fresh local produce to PCR clients.

"After the Bell" snack packs are also available, replacing the school nutrition programs no longer available in the summer.

The Mobile Market is a program by the Inn of the Good Shepherd in conjunction with the PCR!

Our clients are so appreciative of what our community provides and are asking for some favourites from Ruth’s Place volunteer cook days too I see from this whiteboard. Spaghetti casserole. Lol.
If anyone is looking to donate to the Community Fridge, please check out the whiteboard. I erased it the other day for more requests.
