Just want to say a big Thank You to a few people ....

On Tuesday, June 2, the Kiwanis had a banquet for the Graduation Class at the Petitcodiac Legion. Just before we started to plate up this dinner, the hydro went out!! Well, were we in a mess...so we thought!!!....our President , Charlene McCully, called the Mayor, Peter Saunders, and asked him to contact the Petitcodiac Fire Department to see if they could supply us with some portable lighting. Well, they came to our rescue!! Also Candice, from Foodland came and asked if we needed anything...with no hydro, we had no water, so Candice supplied us with 3 cases of water. So with tea lights on the tables and portable lighting in the kitchen and dining room, the Kiwanis served dinner and we plated it up in the kitchen...what a night to remember!! Thank you again to everyone who came to our rescue.
