Hike for Hospice is a non-competitive walk and Hospice Peterborough's largest fundraising event. It brings families, friends, neighbours and co-workers together to support and recognize the palliative and bereavement struggles of individuals and families in our community. 00 people who benefit from the support, care and education offered by Hospice Peterborough. Your participation in hike, whether as a hiker, donor or sponsor, will ensure that we can continue to offer 25 plus programs and services - free of charge. ABOUT HOSPICE PETERBOROUGH

Hospice Peterborough offers the best possible support to individuals and families living with or affected by life-threatening illness and grief. Since 1988, Hospice Peterborough has created a safe, comfortable, home-like environment for clients, staff and volunteers. Guided by a philosophy of compassion, respect and autonomy, Hospice's team of specially trained staff and volunteers work togehter to care for the whole person, improve quality of life and enhance comfort. When individuals and families come to Hospice, they realize they are not alone. Hospice Peterborough's programs and services are offered free of charge to residents of all ages living in the City and County of Peterborough. They include a home support program, day program, caregiver support group, grief programs, family support and wellness programming. Staff and volunteers also work with clients and their families to advocate for excellent hospice palliative care within the health and social service care systems and within the family unit. Hospice Peterborough relies on the generosity of local donors to support our programs and services. You make hospice palliative care in our community possible and hope you will join us online.
