A volunteer-led Peterborough community supporting Crohn’s and Colitis Canada through awareness, fundraising, advocacy, and hope for a future without Crohn’s and colitis. Crohn’s and Colitis Canada is the only national, volunteer-based charity focused on finding the cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, the two main forms of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and improving the lives of c

hildren and adults affected by these diseases. Founded in 1974, Crohn’s and Colitis Canada was composed of a group of concerned parents who believed their children, and others living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, deserved better care and better lives. Today, we are one of the top two health charity funders of Crohn’s and colitis research in the world, investing nearly $122 million in research since 1974, leading to important breakthroughs in genetics, gut microbes, inflammation and cell repair as well as laying the groundwork for new and better treatments. We offer education and patient support programs across the country that aim to educate and raise awareness about these diseases. Together, we are transforming the lives of people affected by Crohn’s and colitis through research, patient programs, advocacy, and awareness.

We’re so excited to see everyone at Peterborough’s Gutsy Walk this Sunday! 🎉

You can look forward to a 50/50 draw, raffle prizes, and local highlights, so don’t forget to bring your cash:
$3 each • 3 for $5 • 10 for $10

Check-in is only needed if you are:
• submitting cash or cheque donations
• picking up your Gutsy Walk t-shirt and/or star reward
• picking up lunch tickets (if applicable)

All Gutsy Walk t-shirts will be picked up on event day, and if you’re not submitting donations or collecting items, you can head straight to the event site.
