Summer has flown by, and it is time to get Muskie anglers back together. Mark your calendars for our next chapter meeting on Wednesday, September 9, at 7:00 PM at the Peterborough Legion. New people always welcome!

We are kicking off the fall season with a relaxed, high-energy night to reconnect before prime big-fish weather arrives:

Fish Stories & Tall Tales: Come ready to share your summer catches, the ones that got away, and maybe a few harmless lies about that 50-incher.

Chapter Outing Details: We will break down all the logistics, food, and prizes for the upcoming annual Scotsman Point outing on Sept 26th.

Fall & Year-End Preview: We have some massive plans lined up to close out 2026, including our new member mentorship session, guest speakers, and upcoming chapter elections.

The Prize Table: As always, loaded up with gear ready to go home with lucky ticket holders.

Grab a friend, grab a cold drink at the bar, and let’s talk muskies.

A great program to get kids into fish'n !

The Tackle Share program is back!

Did you know? The Lakefield Library is a loaner site for the Tackle Share program offered by the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters. This means kids under 18 can borrow rods, reels, and tackle for free! Stop by the library and get hooked on fishing!

This is a fun upcoming event that allows us to share our knowledge and reel in some new Muskie anglers. Volunteer for this amazing event and create some opportunities and memories with an amazing group of women anglers that you are sure to share many smiles and laughs with.

-Sara and Angelo are seeking 10 volunteer boaters for OWA muskie fishing event at Sunny Acres Resort on Oct 3, 2026.

-Event runs 7 AM to 4:30 PM, with fishing shifts from 8 AM–11:30 AM and 1 PM–4:30 PM.

-Contact Sara or Angelo to volunteer or inquire about the potential social campfire on Oct 2.

So, we have been completely shell-shocked around here recently, and I managed to pull off the ultimate rookie mistake. I completely forgot to run the Polley Baits giveaway that Neil Polley was so kind to donate after showing us his top-secret bait building methods live from deep inside his headquarters.

I do apologize for taking so long to get this done! Life got in the way, but we are finally making things right.

Since we have exactly 98 members as of today, I figured the only logical way to settle this was a fast and furious 98-second digital race. No bias, no favourites, just pure high-speed chaos.
