MAP (Media Arts Peterborough) is a new community organization in Peterborough. Started in April 2013 with a grant from the Ontario Arts Council to nurture media arts in this specific region, MAP hosts socials, workshops, talks, community productions and screenings. MAP is growing with partners like Artspace / Medialab, Public Energy, Hatch Peterborough, ReFrame Peterborough International Film Fest

MAP is under the direction of artist-in-residence filmmaker Lester Alfonso who is recently collaborating with the community to produce the web series WHAT IS ART?
