Join Active School Travel Peterborough (AST Ptbo) on Tuesday, June 9, from 3:30–7:00 p.m. outside the YMCA for Let’s Bike!, an afternoon packed with cycling fun for kids and families.⁠

✅ Win bike gear prize packs⁠
✅ Get a free bike check-up⁠
✅ Practice your skills in our legendary bike playground⁠
✅ Try out balance, braking, and handling games⁠..and more!⁠

All ages and abilities welcome — come ride with us!⁠

Join a Gardening Basics workshop led by the Peterborough & Area Master Gardeners Saturday, June 6 from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at GreenUP Ecology Park.⁠
⁠
The second in the Growing Together series, this beginner-friendly session is designed for anyone interested in learning more about gardening in our region.⁠
⁠
What to expect:⁠
🌿 Tips on soil health, compost, watering, sunlight, and garden maintenance⁠
🌿 An introduction to different types of plants, including annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees⁠
🌿 The opportunity to create your own planter filled with herbs and marigolds to take home
⁠
Participants will also receive a summary handout with key gardening information from the workshop.⁠
