Glowing skin? Check.
Hydration? Check.
Tested for Hep C? Let’s make sure that one’s checked off, too.
If you haven’t done it yet, consider this your loving (but firm) nudge to go get on that.
Stay Cool, know your status. Bye! 👋

"Everyone has their role in challenging HIV stigma."

We wanted to expand our circle to include the voices of Indigenous men who are often excluded from conversations related to HIV awareness, prevention, testing and treatment. This message was created by and for cis-hetero Indigenous men in our communities.

The Sound of Healing reminds us that strength includes learning, asking questions, and supporting one another. Through culture, voice, and connection, Starting Home Fires invites Indigenous men into the conversation about HIV.

"I took my medicines when you were in my tummy, so HIV stayed with me and didn't go to you."

This beautiful moment shows how HIV conversations can be rooted in honesty, love, and reassurance even with our youngest family members.

Care Before and After reminds us that education and care begin early, and that stigma can end when understanding begins.

Watch. Share. Start the conversation.

We're proud to help share a powerful new series of Indigenous-led stories created through CBRC (Community-Based Research Centre )and CATIE's (CATIE )
Starting Home Fires initiative.

These videos invite us into real conversations about HIV, love, medicines, family, culture, and care-showing that HIV awareness isn't just about information, it's about people.

We know that when stories are shared, stigma can be challenged, understanding can grow, and community care can deepen.

We just received a new batch of HIV self-testing kits, and getting yours is easier than ever. Grab yours for free while supplies last! 😉
You can pick one up by stopping by:
📍 Our Main Office ( 2nd floor , 60 Hunter St E, Peterborough)
📍 Trinity Site ( Harm reduction satellite office)
🏳️‍🌈 Out in the community! Catch our team at various Pride events across the 4 counties. (Follow us to know where we will be tabling next !)

❗Important Note: This is a quick, single-use screening test. While it is a fantastic and convenient first step, a confirmatory diagnosis requires full drawn blood work. If needed, you can easily book a blood test through the Positive Care Clinic or nearby local Sexual Health Clinic.

Pride isn’t just a moment on a calendar—it’s a feeling of community, safety, and joy that we deserve to carry with us all summer long. 🏳️‍🌈✨
We’ve noticed that Peterborough needs more vibrant, welcoming spaces to just let loose and dance. So, we decided to combine two of our absolute favorite things: community celebration and fresh boba.

Roxxy Waters proudly presents Pride + Boba, a charity Pride dance party! Brought to life by our local organizers and ambassadors, Nikki and Michael , this space is built for every single member of our 2SLGBTQIA+ community and the allies who love and stand with us.

The best part? While we’re tearing up the dance floor, we’ll also be raising crucial funds for us(PARN) to support the incredible work we do right here in our community. 🧋💃

🗓️ The Details
When: June 13th | 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM (the perfect day-party vibe)
Where: Milk + Tea (360 George St North, Suite 57)
Why: To dance, build community, and show up for a great cause.

Come as you are, bring your friends, and let’s kick off the summer with love, music, and a little bit of sweetness. We can't wait to see you there. 🫶
