A new event for us this year! Come see us at Doggone Days of Summer at the Buckhorn Community Centre on Saturday June 27th. The event runs from 10am to 3pm.

We are beyond excited to announce that Peterborough Flyball Dogs and Allan Maniate's Dog Training and Equipment Sales will be bringing the action to our event with LIVE dog shows all day long!

Get ready to be amazed by high-energy flyball races, incredible agility, and some seriously talented pups showing off during their draft dog demonstration, and rally obedience training. Whether you’re a dog lover, a pet owner, or just looking for some fun entertainment, these performances are something you won’t want to miss!

Would you love to improve your dog's confidence, recall, and focus on you, all while getting some much needed exercise?
TRY FLYBALL!
Flyball is a high-speed relay dog sport. A team of four dogs competes against other teams to jump four hurdles, release and catch a ball, then run back over the hurdles in succession until all four dogs have had their turn. The first team to run the race without making a mistake and in the fastest time WINS!
Small, large, fast, slow, pure-breed or mixed breed, this is a sport for all dogs!
Our beginner flyball class will introduce you to the basic rules and skills to play. We use positive training techniques while emphasizing on fun and safety. We will train you and your dog the fundamental skills needed to play. These skills include: recalls, going over jumps, ball retrieval and introduction to the flyball box.

Merry Christmas everyone!

We attempted to capture pictures of the dogs together under the Christmas tree. We had 5 dogs in the first group and 6 in the second group tonight. As Gerry said, it was a little like herding cats. 😆 Here are the results...🎄❄️💞
