An update on operating hours for the Consumption and Treatment Services (CTS) site in Peterborough:

Fourcast received notification on March 16 that the CTS would be defunded as of June 13, and we were directed to wind down operations. Fourcast's exemption from Health Canada that allows us to operate the service will expire on May 31 at 9pm. Therefore, the Peterborough CTS site will be permanently closed no later than May 31.

The next phase of our wind-down to closure is to begin to reduce CTS service hours. Most of the full-time and part-time staff have successfully moved to other roles within Fourcast, so our staffing capacity for CTS is reduced.

Effective immediately, the CTS will be operating 9am - 5pm, 7 days a week; however, that may be subject to change due to staffing capacity. We will post any changes to service hours on-site at 220 Simcoe St.

Fourcast is maintaining ongoing contact with service users and providing them information on-site as changes occur. We thank all of our community partners for their support at this time.

We're hiring a full-time Program Manager to lead the Health Team at the centre of the HART Hub.

This program is designed as a low-barrier, trauma-informed, culturally responsive health care model that integrates primary care, mental health, substance use treatment, housing with supports, and health systems navigation. The Program Manager will make sure services are delivered effectively and in a way that meets the needs of every person they serve.
