Our officers will be out conducting RIDE checks across the City of Kawartha Lakes.

City of Kawartha Lakes OPP arrested the 7th impaired driver of October last night following a call for service for a single vehicle collision. This occurred on Opmar Road around 9:24 ^j.k.

I’m helping sell Fan Zone tickets for a special Peterborough Petes Game Day Fundraiser supporting MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving)

📍 Peterborough Memorial Centre
🎟️ Tickets are $15 each — includes entry in the Fan Zone (such a fun, lively spot to watch!) and one raffle entry for an autographed Petes jersey!

It’s a great cause, and it’ll be an awesome night out cheering on the Petes while supporting MADD’s work in our community. 💪

Congratulations on receiving King Charles' Coronation Medal Lesley!!

Lesley has been volunteering with MADD Canada since 2014. She currently serves as a leadership volunteer for MADD Kawartha Lakes & Area. As a victim services professional, and victim services volunteer, Lesley supports local victims whenever needed. Lesley has worked tirelessly to create community partnerships with police services, Fleming College and others to create public awareness via parades, boating signage and a court-related awareness fundraising program.
