Petawawa Skating Club

Petawawa Skating Club Keep up to date with the Petawawa Skating Club. The Petawawa Skating Club is a registered club of Skate Canada.

This ensures that the programs offered, the skills developed, and the instruction provided to our skaters all meet a specified standard that is consistent across Canada. All of our coaches are certified by Skate Canada through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), and our coaches in turn train our amateur volunteer “Program Assistants” to assist on the ice with instruction for our Sy

nchro, PreCan, CanPowerSkate, CanSkate and Intermediate programs. All coaches must hold a valid First Aid certificate. The Club develops skaters of all ages and abilities, from recreational to competitive skaters, youngsters to adults. Our Club also encourages and supports the development of volunteers such as Club executive members and Skate Canada officials.

A huge shoutout to all our skaters who took to the ice this weekend — what an incredible mix of laughter, energy, and outstanding performances. You truly brought the fun!

To our amazing families — hearing you cheer from the stands means everything. Your support fuels every move, every routine, and every smile on the ice. 💙

And to our dedicated coaches — thank you for your constant encouragement, expertise, and the passion you bring to every single practice. It shows in every performance.

Platinum Edge had an incredible showing at the 2026 Skate Ontario Provincial Championships, hosted by Skate Ontario and the Hamilton Skating Club! 🥇🥈🥉

A fantastic achievement that reflects the dedication, perseverance, and passion our athletes bring to the ice every single day.

A big shoutout to our Platinum Edge Star 8 team, who finished 5th and wrapped up their season with their highest score of the year — a true testament to the hard work put in both on and off the ice.

We couldn’t be more proud of all our athletes and everything they’ve accomplished this season.

And what an unforgettable experience meeting Roman Sadovsky— an inspiration to our skaters and a powerful reminder of what dedication can achieve.
