🐾❤️ Thank You for Your Support ❤️🐾
We want to thank everyone for the recent outpouring of inquiries into joining the Watch My 6 Service Dogs program. Your trust in us means the world.
Starting in 2026, we will be shifting to one intake per year, welcoming 6–8 teams. If we are able, and space allows, we may offer a second intake in fall 2026. This change helps us focus on the success and well-being of the teams already in training, while keeping the door open for growth if our capacity allows.
Over the past several years, our trainers have worked tirelessly, running three intakes annually with up to 18 dogs each time. While this has supported many families, it has also stretched our small but dedicated team. Adjusting our intake schedule ensures we can continue to deliver the high-quality, hands-on training our program is known for.
👉 Important Notes About Applications:
If you’ve applied through our website, your application has been received—there’s no need to send multiple follow-up emails.
We will reach out to applicants one month prior to intake with an invitation to attend an assessment evening.
Please note: an assessment invitation does not guarantee entry into the program—it is part of the evaluation process to determine suitability.
👉 Updated Program Costs (effective 2026):
Intro Course (first 8 weeks): $300
Vest Fee: $500
Final Certification: $300
Ongoing Training Classes: $25 per class (teams must attend at least one of two offered classes each month)
At this time, our website has unfortunately crashed and will need to be rebuilt. Until then, we are closing new applications. The 100+ applications already submitted will be considered for the 2026 intake season.
We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these changes. These steps protect the well-being of our trainers, the sustainability of our program, and the success of every service dog team we support.
💙 Thank you for believing in Watch My 6 Service Dogs. Together, we continue to change—and save—lives.
