🐾 WATCH MY 6 – UPDATE MOVING FORWARD 🐾
Over the past several months, many of you have reached out asking where Watch My 6 stands and what the future looks like. We wanted to take a moment to provide an update.
In late spring, we found ourselves restructuring the program once again when our incredible trainers moved on to pursue exciting new opportunities within the dog world. While we were sad to see them go, we are incredibly proud of what they accomplished with Watch My 6 and wish them nothing but success in their next ventures.
Since then, our focus has been on supporting our existing teams through testing, certifications, and any challenges that arise along their service dog journey. Our commitment to the teams already in the program remains unchanged.
As many of you know, demand for our program continues to grow. Unfortunately, with our current resources, we can no longer operate the same weekly or bi-weekly group training model that we have used in the past.
Beginning September 2026, Watch My 6 will transition to two new program options:
🔹 Owner-Trained Certification Program
Designed for teams who have completed the training work independently and are seeking certification. Our certification process spans three days of comprehensive testing and evaluation. This will be offered as a premium service reflecting the extensive testing requirements involved.
🔹 Supportive Training Program
This program will continue to guide teams toward certification but with a greater emphasis on independent work. Rather than formal weekly group sessions, participants will receive structured guidance, scheduled check-ins, coaching, and support while completing training assignments on their own schedule.
To add to the challenge, we also lost our website during this transition. Throughout the summer, we will be rebuilding our online presence and developing these two new program structures.
Our goal is to officially relaunch Watch My 6 on September 1, 2026 with these new offerings available to future teams.
We know many individuals and families have been patiently waiting for openings, and we sincerely appreciate your continued support and understanding as we work to build a sustainable path forward.
Watch My 6 has always been about helping people gain greater independence, confidence, and support through their service dogs. That mission is not changing.
