We are building a community that collaborates to ensure access to good food for all, builds food skills and food literacy and is engaged in the interconnected issues of food insecurity and poverty. While the centre is open Monday to Friday nine to five, our various programs operate on distinct schedules so please see our website for details.

We will be serving up Turkey and all of the fixings for the Thanksgiving meal this evening from 4pm-6pm. There might even be a couple of surprises…

Last weekend, we gathered at the Crystal Palace for Comfort & Joy, The Table Community Food Centre's newest fundraising event, to celebrate something wonderfully simple: good food, good music, and good company.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us. Whether you purchased a ticket, gave a little extra, voted for your favourite dish, or simply showed up with an appetite and an open heart, you helped make the evening something truly special.

And thanks to your generosity, we're thrilled to announce that Comfort & Joy raised over $20,000 to support The Table's programs and services!

These funds will help us continue bringing good food, connection, and essential supports to people across our community. We couldn't be more grateful.

As families gather for Thanksgiving this weekend, it is important to look towards and honour the history of this land where we live and all of Turtle Island. We honour and express deep gratitude to the Indigenous communities that continue to care for and steward the lands and waters all around us.

Let's use this day of gratitude to also listen, learn and amplify Indigenous voices.
