Thank you to everyone that supported our local conference of St. Vincent de Paul in 2025. Last year we were able to deliver 1,339 food hampers for those in need in our community as well as offering rental support and other assistance such as utility bills, medical assistance, etc.

We also assembled and delivered 357 Christmas hampers, serving 640 adults, 372 children, and 105 teens. Each hamper contained food for their pantry, Christmas breakfast, Christmas dinner (including a ham or turkey), toys and gift cards for all children and teens, as well as a small gift for each adult.

Without our community's generous support of financial, food and/or volunteer time, we certainly wouldn't be able to provide these blessings to our community.

Thank you again and may God's blessings give us all hope and joy in the year ahead.

With great blessings from God, so many generous volunteers and donors have made another Christmas Hamper Campaign a great success.

It took months of planning, a week of intense preparation, but only 2 hours to deliver the roughly 350 hampers!

To those who helped all week to prepare the hampers, and to the army of delivery elves that hit the roads this morning, we send a huge Thank You, a Merry Christmas, and may God Bless you.

We are rapidly approaching what we affectionately refer to as Hamper Week: the week-long activities of receiving and assembling into hampers all the purchased and donated goods. It all begins on Saturday, December 13th and run until the following Saturday, December 20th, when an army of drivers heads out into the community to deliver these gifts of Christmas to about 350 households in about 2 hours!

We have started taking requests for Christmas hampers. The Christmas Hamper Campaign is an annual, time-limited program where individuals, couples or families in need can register for a Christmas Hamper intended to provide a generous meal during the Christmas season. The 38th Annual OMRA Toy Run was an great success!

Although God graced the Okanagan Motorcycle Riders and all the volunteers last Sunday with occasional liquid blessings from the heavens, it was another incredible success.

Shoutout to the OMRA organizing committee and to all our gracious sponsors.

Our supporters were generous with both financial and toy donations. Thank you so much.

All the proceeds will go to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in support of the food insecurity programs in our community, particularly our Christmas Hamper Program with gifts of toys for the kids.
