The Area Coordinators role as an independent contractor is to connect the new residents to their new local community by presenting them with a welcome package, which includes information about local and community services. In partnership together with local businesses, the Area Coordinators share information about their services, to showcase to the new residents the benefits of shopping local in the community, and what the community has to experience. The Area Coordinator puts together the welcome packages, and provides a person to person delivery and greeting. Every Area Coordinator is responsible to collect, manage, and deliver items collected from partners and other community services, as well as gaining new partnerships with businesses in the community.
