A big thank you to Western Financial Group and the Western Communities Foundation for their generous donation to support upgrades at the Kinsmen Community Pool.
We’re also grateful to Wawanesa Insurance for partnering in this effort. These funds will help us continue raising money to purchase new lockers for our facility. 💙
Last week our Ottawa Valley team was proud to come together with community partners for a donation check presentation in support of the Kinsmen Pool, a place that brings families together and plays an important role in health, recreation, and connection across our community.
In 2025, our Ottawa Valley branch selected the Kinsmen Pool as our annual community fundraising focus, raising over $4,000 through local employee-led efforts. We are also proud to support much-needed locker room upgrades through a Western Communities Foundation Community Infrastructure Grant, helping replace aging lockers and create a safer, more welcoming space for everyone who uses the pool.
A big thank you to our partner Wawanesa Insurance, who co-sponsored the grant to support pool repairs and improvements.
