BGC Renfrew County

BGC Renfrew County Children and Youth Services BGC Renfrew County (formerly BGC Pembroke) is a non-profit organization that has been in operation since 1965.

The organization helps youth, ranging in age from pre-school to young adulthood, to play, learn and develop skills to help them achieve their full potential and grow up to be healthy, successful and active participants in society. Educational and recreational programs are provided to children ages 4-17. Some of these programs include after school programs, cooking classes, homework help, visual ar

ts, dance, basketball, hockey and a community supper to name a few. The club helps prepare children and youth for life by helping them to discover and develop their abilities and skills, building confidence and competence. The club staff helps builds self-esteem in kids by empowering youth to help shape programs and share their ideas. Through these opportunities, youth are given the chance to develop life and
leadership skills and learn how to contribute to their club and their community. The club is supported through generous donors, funders, like United Way of Eastern Ontario, Jason Blaine Charitable Fund and Delta Bingo and Gaming as well as through various fundraising events. Two hours a year donated by you means Delta Bingo and Gaming donates literally hundreds of dollars to us. That really adds up over a year for our kids and families and keeps our programs FREE.
