BGC Renfrew County Children and Youth Services BGC Renfrew County (formerly BGC Pembroke) is a non-profit organization that has been in operation since 1965.

The organization helps youth, ranging in age from pre-school to young adulthood, to play, learn and develop skills to help them achieve their full potential and grow up to be healthy, successful and active participants in society. Educational and recreational programs are provided to children ages 4-17. Some of these programs include after school programs, cooking classes, homework help, visual arts, dance, basketball, hockey and a community supper to name a few. The club helps prepare children and youth for life by helping them to discover and develop their abilities and skills, building confidence and competence. The club staff helps builds self-esteem in kids by empowering youth to help shape programs and share their ideas. Through these opportunities, youth are given the chance to develop life and
leadership skills and learn how to contribute to their club and their community. The club is supported through generous donors, funders, like United Way of Eastern Ontario, Jason Blaine Charitable Fund and Delta Bingo and Gaming as well as through various fundraising events. Thank you so much for amazing donation and tour of the firehouse! This will go a long way for our member families and kids. It's community partners like the Pembroke City of Pembroke Fire Department that make a difference in our community.

After another successful bass tournament this summer, we are happy to be making this donation to the BGC Renfrew County!! We know you’ll continue to do great things!! City of Pembroke Fire Department

We had a full house for our Community Supper night on Tuesday for spaghetti night! Next week is MINI PIZZA 🍕 night so reserve your spots in advance- it's always super popular!

Don't know about Community Super and Rec Night? You drop kids off at 5, we feed 'em a home cooked meal, run them in the gym, the kids then play fun games and then your only job is to pick them up full and tired at 7! And it's included in your membership!

See you at the clubhouse!

A BIG Boys and Girls Club thank you to the players from the Pembroke Royals for battling it out with the kids in Floor Hockey last night! It was a tough game with lots of chances on both sides but the kids were the real winners in the end.

Every child deserves to feel safe, valued and proud of who they are.

This Orange Shirt Day, BGC Renfrew County honours the Indigenous children who never returned home from residential schools, the Survivors and their families.

For the children in our Club, belonging means knowing their voices matter, their cultures deserve respect and their futures hold promise. We commit to listening, learning and helping our children grow with kindness and respect for others.

Every Child Matters. 🧡
