Seven years ago Blanche Ducey had a dream. She wanted to make sure everyone had a place to call home. A place to go and feel safe and understood. She also realized that it was hard for everyone to access the basic living items that are needed to be comfortable. This is why she created her thrift store and she called it Got You In Mind. In 2017 tragedy struck the store when a fire destroyed the entire inventory. Blanche did not give up. She reached out and created a team to re-open her store. This time as a not for corporation with a mandate to supply daily living items to the community and use the profits to support mental well-being. Blanche just wants everyone to know that there is always hope no matter how hard it gets and she is an example of that.
