On Wednesday, Coffee Connect guests were greeted by a beautifully decorated fall table display.

There were yummy Halloween inspired poppy seed lemon cupcakes and guests also sampled this easy to prepare and totally delicious chicken meal!

Thanks to all who came out to enjoy the Fall colours on our Wednesday hike at Westmeath Provincial Park.

A lovely trail leads right down to the Ottawa River.

Many made a stop at Hugli’s to enjoy a treat afterwards.

A big shout out to my husband Jerry for stepping in last minute to take over my role. It was much appreciated

Voting Clinic – Wednesday, October 21st, 12 noon – 2:00 pm

The Laurentian Valley Twp and Fit & Feisty are holding a voting clinic for our members. It’s an additional opportunity for seniors who may not be comfortable voting on their own, who do not have internet or a device, or who would like assistance using the online voting system.
Participants should bring their voter letter and any identification required by their municipality. Members from other municipalities can vote at this clinic as well, as long as you bring your voter letter with you.
Please note that in-person ballot voting will only be available on October 26 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the LV Twp. office.

Tuesday was a beautiful day to explore Gatineau Park by e-bike.

Despite the cool morning temperature, the fall foliage was gorgeous. We travelled from Sparks Street to Pink Lake on paved trails and roads. Afterwards we enjoyed a nice lunch at Darcy McGees.

Thank you Escape Bicycle Tours for another great adventure.

A fall colors 120km ride to Deep River Thursday on the A Trail.

Mother Nature gave us a beauty day with a few drops of rain and some rainbows on the way home.

59 riders on 33 machines pulled into The Bear’s Den and had a delicious lunch. Stopped along Petawawa Blvd for a break, so many pumpkin friends along the way.

Our last run is on October 22 to Wilno Tavern, still some spaces open, depart at 9:00am.
