Just a reminder that Coffee House is happening tomorrow night, Friday May 29, at Shrubs & Shrews.

Poetry Hour starts things off, with music to follow. Bring something to share if you feel like it, or just come hang out and listen.

It’s always a nice night of poetry, original music, coffee, tea, treats, and good company.

Hope to see some familiar faces and maybe a few new ones too.

Coffee House is back this Friday, May 29th at Shrubs and Shrews.

It was amazing having so many poets join us last month, and we’d love to see both familiar faces and new voices this time around. Poetry Hour runs from 6–7pm and most of the time it’s about getting inspired and writing something new in the moment but prepared work is always welcome too.

Original live music starts at 7pm. We can always count on a few guitarists/singers and there may be cello, violin, piano, or who knows what else. It would be great to have some new musicians stop by while still very much appreciating the regulars who keep showing up and sharing.

And of course, Shrubs & Shrews will have their awesome coffee, tea, and treats available!

You don’t need to perform. You can just come hang out, listen, write, have a coffee, and be part of the evening.
