Grief can feel isolating—but you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Hospice West Parry Sound is offering a new eight-session Grief Support Group for adults who have experienced the death of someone important to them.

Led by Sue Phillips, this small, confidential group will provide a safe and understanding space to:

• Connect with others who are also navigating loss
• Share experiences without judgment or pressure
• Learn healthy coping and self-care strategies
• Build hope, resilience and confidence for the road ahead

The group begins Wednesday, September 30 and will meet every two weeks from 4:00–5:30 p.m. in the Healing Room on the first floor of WPSHC.

Registration is required, and space is limited to 6–8 participants.

Hospice care is not only for the final days of life.

Support can begin earlier—providing companionship, emotional support and a compassionate presence throughout a life-limiting illness. Our trained visiting volunteers are also here to support family members and caregivers.

Reaching out to hospice does not mean giving up. It means adding another layer of support so no one has to navigate this journey alone.

Thank you to the Magnetawan Health Fair for inviting Hospice West Parry Sound to participate! We had a wonderful time connecting with community members, sharing information about our programs and services, and meeting so many caring people.

Chi-miigwetch for bringing everyone together for such a welcoming and informative community event. We were grateful to be part of it!

What a fantastic evening in downtown Parry Sound!

A huge thank-you to the Parry Sound Cruzers for hosting 911 Night and bringing our community together in support of some truly wonderful causes.

It was great to see our local first responders alongside Harvest Share, Bourgeois Ford, Enliven Cancer Care, Gran Mama C’s Slap Wagon and Hospice West Parry Sound!

Beautiful cars, generous people and an incredible show of community spirit. Way to go, Cruzers! ❤️
